Video content with bookmarking
Embed video into your course, or link to videos on YouTube. Your videos will be converted to a format that can be displayed on any platform, browser or device. The EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In includes video bookmarking capabilities, allowing your students to watch part of a video, and then pick up right where they left off later.
Animation
Add interest and emphasis to your course with animation. The EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In support standard PowerPoint animations like “Fade”, “Fly in”, “Float” and “Wipe”. Use the standard PowerPoint animation features to build timed, animated pages, and the EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In will retain those animations when you convert your PowerPoint file into an online course.
Audio and Narration
Add audio and narration to the pages of your course using pre-recorded audio files, or record narration directly onto your slides using the built-in audio recorder. All of your audio files will be converted to an HTML5 friendly format so that they play properly on any platform, browser or device.
Quizzes and Tests
Create Quiz and Test Questions directly in PowerPoint. There is no need to learn a separate test building application. Simply click “Add Question”, choose the question type, enter the question information and click “Submit”. It’s that easy. Questions can be scored, randomized and weighted, and the student’s results will automatically be displayed to them on a “Results” page.
Bookmarking and Tracking
Courses produced with the EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In communicate flawlessly with the EZ LCMS Learning Management System. Your students’ progress will be bookmarked, and when they complete a course their status and score will be recorded. Additionally, every question in the course, along with how the user answered the question, will be recorded in the LMS. The latest version of the EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In even features video bookmarking, allowing students to close the course in the middle of a video, and pick up right where they left off in the video when they return.
Page Timing
When you are ready to generate your course, you have the option to set page timing, which requires the student to view each page for a set amount of time. You can set the page timing globally or you can set a specific number of seconds for each page individually.
Generating Your Course
Once your course is complete and ready for delivery to your students, simply click the “Generate” button. Your course and all of it’s content will be published into an HTML5 course package that can be loaded as a complete course, or as a lesson in a multi-lesson course in EZ LCMS. From there, use EZ LCMS to arrange delivery and tracking of your course online.
Compatibility
All content that you generate with the EZ LCMS PowerPoint Plug-In will be published into an HTML5 formatted, web-based course that can be used on any platform, browser or device. All media including video and audio will be converted to mobile friendly formats and your course will display exactly the same way, no matter what device is used to view it.
